Yessenia Sánchez (she/her/ella)
EDITOR  &  ASSISTANT EDITOR

IMDB
Yessenia is a filmmaker from Northern California, now based in Los Angeles, with current narrative credits including editing Season 3 of LOST MEMORIES, a TV series for Alzheimer's Los Angeles; Editing PLEASE RETURN YOUR CARTS, a short film created from the Find Your People Program organized by Issa Rae's Color Creative; And creating her award-winning short film DOUBLE CULTURA which was licensed by MAX.

Most of Yessenia's narrative projects touch on multiculturalism, community and resiliency. She appreciates the subtle in-between moments of a story because she believes that’s where they carry the most weight. Revealing emotionally-driven characters, creating space for honest, lived experiences and guiding spectators to find value in new perspectives are her main objectives. Yessenia treats every project as an opportunity to learn and grow, and actively applies her new insights to her future projects.

She currently works as an Assistant Editor at SixTwentySix in Culver City, CA.
